The 'Now' Economy

When a prospect reaches out, they want to receive help now, not later.

The 'Now' Economy

2 months ago, we organized a HRD Corp claimable conference. In the past, most of our events were not HRD Corp claimable, so we just sold individual tickets. No problem.

But with a HRD Corp claimable event we started receiving tons of inquiries from companies – most of them asking the same things, "How do I apply?" or "Is this HRD Corp claimable?"

We only had simple automated replies – like thanks, and oh, we'll get back to you.

I didn't see a reason to automate the process, since we could still handle the inquiries manually. No need to build a process around something so small, I thought.

The 'Now' Economy

But problems quickly showed up.

Every time there was an inquiry, I would divert my attention to it.

I'd be deep into a task, get pulled away to respond, then try to jump back in. Every time, I had to rebuild momentum from scratch.

This was OK at first. But the constant switching became tiring. I started feeling overwhelmed and soon missed project deadlines.

Still, there's a second problem.

Today, we live in a now economy. When a prospect reaches out, they want help now, not later. From what I've experienced, a difference of just a few minutes in response time can be the difference between winning the deal or losing it.

Some prospects even forgot what they were inquiring about if I responded late.

This is where technology can help.

For us, it's as simple as building a reply system that instantly gives prospects what they need - brochures, event details, and price & ticket availability confirmation.

This is what we're building on Saturday

You don't have to automate 100 things in your business straight away. In fact, if you sign up for n8n and think, "OMG, I need workflows for everything now," you'll probably feel overwhelmed and do nothing.

Just start small. And it'll compound.

Start with the tasks you repeat again and again.

Here are few things we automated first:

  • Customer buys ticket --> they're automatically subscribed to our newsletter
  • High-value lead fills out contact form --> saved in CRM --> team gets notified
  • Someone asks specific question about an event --> they get a personalized reply --> brochure sent automatically

If you want to automate your first marketing processes and claim back time, join us for a free n8n build-together session this Saturday, 17th Jan. Click here to join
