Your "trade secrets" are costing you clients
The more you give, the more you get.
Once, at 18, I was the youngest member of BNI in Malaysia.
A room full of grown-ups in ties and suits. And me. Getting two words hammered into my skull by guys at least twice my age.
Givers gain.
I even made a cringe song for BNI. (Don't say I didn't warn you)

At the recent Underdog Content Con, the speaker who got the most back was the one who gave the most.
Enter Claudia.
She showed up and held nothing back. Her story. Her content library. Her process flow. Actual behind-the-scenes screenshots.
No teasing. No "oops, that's part of my paid program".
And it showed. Here's one piece of feedback we got:

Here's the insane belief most business owners have:
That your stuff is precious. If you give away your trade secret, you've got nothing left to sell.
So we hold back.
We tease the framework. Tell half a story. Save the good part for a paid version. A "sharing" session becomes a pitch.
People can smell it miles away. Proof below.

Here's what I've learnt running Underdog Con.
Givers gain. The speakers who gave the most walk off with the most.
So why does nobody do it?
Because giving value is exhausting.
One person can only answer so many questions, make so much content, and reply to so many DMs before their tank is empty.
So we hold back, because we're human.
That's where AI changes things – answering burning questions, drafting content from your own stories. Handles repetitive replies.
So you can give away your best stuff at scale, without setting yourself on fire to do it.
That's the whole game now.
