Think like a billionaire

Stop doing low-leverage activites that does not produce revenue for your business.

Think like a billionaire

This is one of the best pieces of advice I've heard:

If you want to become a billionaire, you need to think (and act) like a billionaire.

For most of my career, I've constantly broken this advice. Starting my career as a musician, I've identified as a creative.

So when I went into marketing, I wanted to do it all:

  • Check emails
  • Design websites
  • Write the emails
  • Figure out my namecard
  • Debate the best logo to use
  • Spend hours on Canva
  • Edit videos
  • Logging customer data on Sheets
  • Making sure a button is pixel-perfect

Guess what happened? While I was busy reacting to the minutiae of marketing, I was slowly running my business... to the ground.

What does a billionaire do?

He works on high-leveraged activities, like:

  • Forming partnerships
  • Creating offers and promotions
  • Doing webinars
  • Writing sales copy
  • Make content
  • Building systems

And delegates the rest.

I already hear the objection, because I said this to myself too, "But, I don't have the money to hire a team".

And that's because I was so busy working on trivial things that I forgot to invest time to build the business.

Here's the truth: If your business is pulling in enough money, you wouldn't have any problems hiring the best talent or systems. Your job as a business owner is to drive revenue.

Automate marketing busy work away

The workshop next week isn't just about learning how to use n8n. It's about getting leverage in your business.

You might think tasks like checking your Meta leads, exporting CSVs, and copy-pasting into CRMs are harmless. If you spend 2 hours per week doing those, it's 104 hours a year – wasted on tasks that don't grow your business.

Automating your marketing gives you leverage to grow your business.
