One of my biggest regrets as a marketer – is not keeping a success folder. A success folder is a folder that contains every win, client testimonials, and results.
Here's what ours looks like today:

Each folder contains screenshots of messages, presentation decks, and anything that denotes a win.
So two things happen.
1 - Testimonials matters
Before a customer makes a purchase, they will look for proof that the product or service works. If it works for Peter, then it'll work for me.
A word of caution. The kind of testimonials you show will attract the kind of people you want to reach.
If you run a gym for females, and all your testimonials are from female customers – then a dude wouldn't resonate and ultimately wouldn't buy from you.
2 - Dopamine booster
I recently saw this image on Facebook

So whenever I feel defeated and as though I'm not putting enough value out, I browse my success folder, go through wins, and feel better in 5 minutes.
So create a success folder now. Yes, right this minute.
Doesn't matter where you store them. Google Drive. Miro. Notion. Apple Notes.
Doesn't matter if you're working for someone. Just starting out. Or only have 1 client right now.
Stack your wins. Do it early.
Proof over promise
One of the very first things we do when designing the landing page for Underdog Con – is to put up screenshots of testimonials and words from past attendees.

Because it works.
By the way, pre-sale is open for Underdog B2B Con – which will be another epic event filled with opportunities.
